By taking the poisoned chalice that is the THFC manager's job has Harry Redknap finally lost his marbles? OK, so he won their first match under his management but where will they finish the season?? How much money will Levy stump up for transfers come January and what decent players are likely to want to sign for them?

Priority has to be the Premiership at the moment ....we've got Jenas out injured and I'm sure the legend (or should that be leg-end due to his long-term injury?!) Ledders will be rested. Anyway, good to blood some new boys ...come on yoooou Spuuuurs!

Tottenham 4-0 Dinamo Zagreb (Bent scores a Hat trick and Huddlestone ices the cake!)

Must be that Red Bull again.

Perhaps Harry is comfortable in the Euro Zone after all!!

Ledley is finished if he plays him every week.
    He cant last a game.
Personally I think he should put him on the bench for key games and bring him on when he needs to for that extra lift.
Ledley never seems to need to play every game to stay match fit.
If he cant find a place/role within the team, as much as I do really rate him as a player, I think the option must be to otherwise retire him and that would be a crying shame!

....ooooh touchy subject! Ledley has simply been great for Tottenham on the occasions he gets a game ...the whole team looks more composed, organised and solid at the back. I'm gutted that he's had to endure what surely is a permanent injury. My own view is that he can still play a vital part this season; coming on for key matches (ie the premiership), but like you, I agree his playing days are numbered. I've watched him all his career, beginning as understudy to "he who shall not be mentioned", and coming through the ranks to become Club Captain. The club MUST retain his services in a defensive coaching role or something similar when he is finally told by the medical people that he really should call it a day.
    Long live the KING.

I am with you....what I am saying is play him for the key games, maximise the opportunity, just dont play him every game for the full game or he will be finished (sooner than we would all like to see).

I firmly believe there is still a place for him in the team if the coaches etc accept his limitations.

We desperately need his skills and as you say, he has what I call in rugby terms "the Jonny Wilkison effect" where he does indeed lift the team, spirits are raised and suddenly everyone believes he can work the magic. The others all lift their game and the fans get behind the team.

Cant comment on his off the pitch skills and whether money would be well spent in retaining him on the Staff, but perhaps he does have a role bringing through the new talent like Bostock. He is level headed and thinks about his game and I am sure that the youngsters coming through could certainly do with that sort of guidance from someone they must surely hold in high regard.

A comdey show from the defence I'm afraid and not much else from the others. The ressies had a chance to show their worth and didn't step up, the goalie and FBs in particular are not good enough.

Best to find out now rather than in a match that matters. ;-)

Nothing wrong with hating to lose but take it out on those responsible, ie your own team (including the coaches/manager). Accusing a gent like Roy Hodgson of cheating shows Jordan to be a small time, classless berk.

Well Harry certainly must have kicked their bums.
Spurs 1- 0 Blackburn- could have had at least 1 more Pavlyuchenko scored the goal and narrowly missed a second.
Paul Robinson got a good reception...wasnt really a favourite of mine.

I'm glad the likes of Incey-wincey, Roy Keane and Sparky are there to continue where they left off on the field. I'd much rather see the Premiership managed by 'ex-players' - it all adds to the Britishness and continuity for us mere mortals the fans. It's a real shame for us enlightened supporters in North London that Hoddle ....or ....errr,...'God' as he's known by some of us, didn't really get a good run at his favourite job.
No!...not the bleeding England job.....or Chelski....or the other place in Wiltshire with that daft little roundabout in the middle!

Ha ha!...we've already GOT Ralph Coates on the corporate entertainment / match-day hosting staff! Graham Roberts....a Tottenham legend, I agree ...but although I was always a fan of his ...not sure of his managerial / coaching record since he hung up his boots. I think his heart is still well and truly with the lilly-whites but suggest at this stage he just fans a few flames now and then when we're a club in turmoil again.
Actually, thinking about that ....reckon we'll be ready for a new manager soon ....I mean...Harry's had a good innings, but perhaps nows the time to cock it all up again and get some other poison chalice holder!
