    I just don't buy his reflex argument. First touch maybe, but the second was clearly deliberate. Why they all close ranks and say he's not a cheat etc is beyond me. As you say, he also has previous.

    Still, as that loyal Irishman Roy Keane said, the Republic got a penalty in a group game that clearly wasn't a pen.

    At least it means Duff won't be in South Africa - he's Fulham's best player at the moment and needs to stay fit and injury-free fo rthe next couple of years.

    Sort of - verbal agreement for a rolling year, so I understand.
    Have a bet on him as next England manager. Scenario is Capello either wins WC or not, either way he goes afterwards; Woy steps in as mentor to younger side-kick (Pearce?) for a year or two, doing the Olympics at the same time.
